The annual Economic Development Course at Western New Mexico University has received a $10,000 donation from Freeport-McMoRan.
The weeklong course is for community leaders looking to enhance their economic development skills. The course is accredited by the International Economic Development Council. Topics include strategic planning, real estate development and social media marketing.
