In an effort to increase understanding of ecosystems and biodiversity internally, WBCSD member company Monsanto has recently decided to scale up Business Ecosystems Training (BET) for its Sustainability Champions Core Team and Environmental Affairs team. Until now, Monsanto had given BET to about 50 employees worldwide. New classes will be offered next year using an online training program adapted to the agricultural sector, and a special program for leaders across the organization.
The Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (DWCF) has announced its 2013 conservation grant recipients, awarding its 1,000th grant with this latest round of funding.
