Mission Zero Corridor Project selects Innovia Technology to evaluate ground-breaking technologies
Is it possible to have a ‘green highway’? The Mission Zero CorridorProject in West Georgia believes that it is. It has appointed breakthrough innovation consultancy Innovia Technology to help create a ‘travel corridor’ and rethink the purpose and function of this infrastructure to generate social, environmental and economic value.
Construction continues on first infrastructure on Mission Zero Corridor
The first piece of infrastructure on the Mission Zero Corridor is the photovoltaic for electric vehicle (PV4EV) Lift by Spotlight Solar™, a 3,000 kw solar array, funded by Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) at the Georgia Visitor Information Center in West Point, GA. The solar structure will power an electric vehicle (EV) quick charging station with enough renewable electricity to charge two EVs to 80%+ power in 30-45 minutes.
