Recently, Time Warner Cable hosted two troops from the Girl Scouts Hornets’ Nest Council to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) day at the Regional Training Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The girls are members of the Girls Go Beyond outreach group. This program focuses on increasing participation in Girl Scouts among girls in at-risk environments, rural communities or underserved or emerging populations.
