For the 6th consecutive year, MGM Resorts International employees joined the fight against breast cancer by supporting the 2016 Komen Southern Nevada Race for the Cure, held in Downtown Las Vegas.

MGM Resorts was the official sponsor of Komen’s Kids for the Cure. Dozens of employee volunteers took over an entire street in Downtown Las Vegas and hosted games, a petting zoo and other activities for kids. With hundreds of employees participating in the event, MGM Resorts International was recognized for having one of the largest corporate teams.

The team, along with volunteers from the Department of Marine Resources, Mississippi Power, City of Biloxi, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock and Harrah’s, removed more than 2 tons or 400 bags of debris from the island.
