LAS VEGAS, September 5, 2018 /3BL Media/ – The MGM Resorts Foundation will accept nonprofit grant applications through its online portal until September 28, 2018. Funding will be awarded to local nonprofit agencies that provide services focused on strengthening neighborhoods, strengthening children and providing strength in difficult times. 

As a result of the contributions made by MGM Resorts International employees, The MGM Resorts Foundation will award qualifying agencies in Southern Nevada, Michigan, Mississippi and Maryland.

MGM Resorts employees raised over $5 million in 2014. As a result, the MGM Resorts Foundation was able to impact  251,980 individuals and families through grants for food, housing and self-sufficiency programs in that same time period. Employees raised the funds through a variety of activities, including an annual giving campaign; individual fundraising events, and an employee talent show. Employees also played in basketball, bowling and softball tournaments in an effort to raise money for a good cause.
