As part of JetBlue’s continued coronavirus relief efforts, we recently joined forces again with the Ricky Martin Foundation, along with Project HOPE and CharityStars to transport much-needed medical supplies to Puerto Rico. The island is home to nearly 500 JetBlue crewmembers who support the airline operations in our focus city of San Juan, and in Aguadilla and Ponce.

New policy takes effect may 4; Just one of many precautions the airline is taking to protect crewmembers and customers
NEW YORK, April 28, 2020 /3BL Media/ - JetBlue (NASDAQ: JBLU) today announced that starting May 4 all customers will be required to wear a face covering during travel. The policy comes after the airline began requiring all crewmembers to wear face coverings while working. JetBlue has modeled its policy on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines that indicate all individuals should wear a face covering in public to help slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Air travel is an essential global service and we are committed to meeting travel needs, some of which are critical. As most school districts across the U.S. are closed indefinitely, parents and teachers are looking for options to keep students engaged in learning. Education partners from both the JetBlue Foundation and our award winning Soar with Reading initiative have provided free tools and tips for schools, teachers, and students in the areas of STEM and Literacy.
