For more than 10 years, ON Semiconductor has been sponsoring a holiday gift-giving event at Academia del Pueblo Elementary School in Phoenix, Arizona. Academia del Pueblo (AdP) is a Title 1 school catering to a diverse student body from Pre-K to eighth grade. In prior years, employees had personally provided gifts for each student from Pre-K to fifth grade, based on the students’ letters to Santa.
ON Semiconductor employees based in Germany are regular supporters of the Munich charity Salberghaus. It provides a wide range of inpatient, semi-inpatient and outpatient services, as well as in day-care centers for children between the ages of two weeks and 10 years, and their families. In addition, Salberghaus also helps these families with other child needs such as diapers, care products, etc. Currently, there are 65 children living at its facility.

VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) announced the launch of disaster relief activities of “Our Hearts to Central Vietnam” Campaign in Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province. The campaign’s main focuses in Nam Tra My district are to assist with the restoration of 10 battered rural commune healthcare centers and the district hospital, as well as to provide mobile healthcare clinics, water filtration systems, medical equipment and training for local health workers to support the local capacity to diagnose and treat the overwhelming number of ill and injured people.
For 64 years, Junior Achievement of Arizona (JA) has been preparing kids in K-12 to succeed in work and life by giving them the skills needed to manage their money, succeed in their careers and think entrepreneurially. Since its founding, JA has served more than three million students, 65% of whom currently come from low-income households. Moreover, their annual base of 8,000 volunteers serve as mentors to guide the kids down the right path in life.

Through philanthropy and volunteerism, we aim to create a relationship of mutual trust and respect between the company and the local communities in which we operate. Through our community involvement, we also want our employees to be proud of what they do and where they work.
