Rebuilding Together Anne Arundel County (RTAAC), a safe and healthy nonprofit housing organization, returned to Still Meadows last month when they partnered with recycling and disposal experts, Republic Services, Inc., to improve the quality of life in this community that is populated by many active and retired military personnel.
The extended Fort Meade Military Community, located just off base, got new park benches and public trash receptacles installed in the common areas.

ALTANTA, February 1, 2019 /3BL Media/ – Nonprofit Rebuilding Together partnered with Lowe’s, the Official Home Improvement Retail Sponsor of the National Football League (NFL), to provide critical home repairs for six families in Westside Atlanta’s Just Us neighborhood.
There’s often much more below the surface. If you look beyond the wall color at Rebuilding Together projects, you’ll see that we remove lead paint and mold which can have long lasting effect on the lives of children and other residents. We install drywall, waterproof interior masonry walls, prep and paint rooms and install dehumidifiers to give our neighbors a dry place to live.
This time of year loved ones come together, share a meal and create new memories. For many of our neighbors, that is just not possible. One of the challenges to this comforting picture of the holidays is not having a safe and warm place to gather.
Imagine having a front door that doesn’t lock, or a window that’s broken. From the risk of burglary to frigid air creeping inside, these needed repairs become problematic for many, especially our neighbors without the resources to fix them. Rebuilding Together installs windows and doors for people who cannot afford it and need them the most. You can be a part of making their homes safe this holiday season.
