April 8, 2014 /3BL Media/ - The Tenke Fungurume Mining Social Community Fund recently inaugurated five new schools for the communities living in the concession. This accomplishment was achieved through a program that has provided education to 12,000 students by building and refurbishing schools.

Each school has a block of at least six classrooms and corresponding administrative offices. All were constructed of compressed earth bricks stabilized with cement, a technique that is cost-efficient and environmentally friendly.
