MARYSVILLE, Ohio, January 6, 2020 /3BL Media/ – Today’s youth spend less time outdoors than any other generation. To combat this, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation, along with national nonprofit KidsGardening, today opened its Gro More Good Grassroots Grants, an annual grant program designed to get more kids outside through the development of youth-based garden and greenspace programs. Schools and nonprofit organizations across the country are encouraged to apply.

More Food Gardens Underway at Head Starts Nationwide

Ten Head Start programs across the country will soon be growing something greater next spring thanks to a grant from The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation and National Head Start Association. These ten Head Start programs were awarded monetary funds, product donations and garden kits, along with garden training and curriculum, to build or expand garden programs for their preschool students.
