For the fifth year in the row, the National Park Foundation and Subaru are partnering up to give a percentage of proceeds from the Subaru “Share the Love” event. It will give a percentage of proceeds to support waste reduction efforts in three of the most visited national parks. The funding has been directed towards pilot projects in Grand Teton, Yosemite and Denali National Parks.
For 11 years, Subaru of America, Inc. has donated $118 million to charity through its annual Share the Love Event, creating smiles and transforming the lives of thousands of people. Of those funds, Make-A-Wish® has received more than $16.4 million to grant more than 1,800 wishes.
Lockheed Martin employees participated in over 60 volunteer events, donated more than 170,000 volunteer hours and raised more than $8.2 million for 3,885 charitable organizations during the company’s fifth-annual “Month of Giving” in October.
Through the 2018 Subaru Share the Love® Event, from November 15, 2018, to January 2, 2019, Subaru of America will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased to the customer's choice of the four national charities, including Meals on Wheels, with a minimum guarantee of $250,000. In addition to these partners, local Subaru retailers have selected hundreds of hometown charities for their customers to support as well.
