CINCINNATI, December 7, 2020 /3BL Media/ – Fifth Third Bank, National Association today announced a $2.8 billion commitment that will provide $2.2 billion in lending, $500 million in investments, $60 million in financial accessibility and $40 million in philanthropy as part of its Executive Diversity Leadership Council’s Accelerating Racial Equality, Equity and Inclusion initiative. Grow It Forward’s mission is to provide people in need with dignified access to good food, along with opportunities to grow, cook, share, and advocate for it.
Over the past few weeks, more than 200 U.S. FedEx team members nominated and voted for their favorite nonprofit for the FedEx Cares 2020 Giving Tuesday Grant Contest. The top three winners based on team member votes will receive a grant from FedEx.

December 1 marked Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving which encourages us all to give our time, financial donations large or small, material items, acts of kindness, or one’s voice to support our communities in a meaningful way. My favorite part about Giving Tuesday is that everyone has something to give and everything we do means more when we give together.
