NEW YORK, April 9, 2019  /3BL Media/— Delos™, a wellness real estate and technology company, has been listed among Fast Company’s 2019 World Changing Ideas Awards, recognizing DARWIN Home Wellness Intelligence™ among three categories: Wellness, Consumer Products and General Excellence. The award honors businesses, policies, projects, and concepts that offer innovative solutions to the issues facing humanity.

The World Changing Ideas award continues the momentum of DARWIN’s launch in the U.S. earlier this year at CES. The DARWIN Home Wellness Intelligence Network is a groundbreaking offering that is designed to enhance human health, well-being and performance by monitoring, calibrating and responding to changing indoor environmental conditions in homes. DARWIN focuses on four main components: air filtration, water purification, dynamic circadian lighting and comfort-focused technologies, all of which are designed to simulate natural outdoor conditions.

“When it comes to enhancing our health and well-being, we know that our indoor environments play a critical role,” says Delos CEO and Founder Paul Scialla. “Through Delos’ research platform and innovations, we have a profound opportunity for positive societal impact.”

Delos launched DARWIN in Australia in September 2018, its first official foray into the single-family volume home sector, through a collaboration with Simonds Homes. DARWIN is available across the U.S. as part of the new construction or renovation process, from mass market to luxury, through collaborations with developers and builders, including KB Home, and trained HTSA Network dealers and installers.

“It’s exciting to see DARWIN recognized across three categories for such a meaningful and purpose-driven award, listed among companies like IBM and FitBit,” continued Scialla. “We hope to continue this momentum and are committed to the continued growth, improvement and accessibility of DARWIN.”
